
The site is designated for a proposed boutique hotel, the area is part of UNESCO sites. The project aims to transform the historic train station into a distinctive heritage boutique hotel, through a group of specialized studies to document and restore the historical elements and integrate them with the new design elements to achieve maximum benefit as a hotel while preserving the identity of the site. It includes 18 stone buildings and 3 mud buildings in addition to a historic fort, a water basin and a cistern. The work aims to - assess the condition of the site with studies and supervise the works through a specialized resident technical team. The project includes several buildings with different uses including a hotel, a restaurant, a health club, villas .... etc.
