The project was carried out through astructured sequence of stages, beginning with a comprehensive assessment of theexisting condition and progressing through documentation, structural and fieldstudies, laboratory testing, and identification of the various manifestationsof deterioration and damage. Based on the findings, a general restorationmethodology was developed in accordance with the principles and philosophy ofheritage building conservation, addressing the appropriate approaches forstrengthening, salvaging, debris removal, restoration, and preservation. Theproject also included the development of a detailed methodology for therestoration and rehabilitation of the heritage building, followed bysupervision of the implementation works to ensure compliance with the approvedconservation principles and technical requirements.
